- 1851 March 11 — Giuseppe Verdi’s "Rigoletto" received its world premiere at Teatro La Fenice in Venice.
- 1853 May 14 — "Rigoletto" received its Royal Opera House premiere at the Royal Italian Opera, Covent Garden.
